Studio Policies
Music is something that requires dedication and commitment. Before deciding to sign up for lessons with XJ and XY, please make sure that you are agreeable with the policies as stated.
This is to ensure that our students show progress overtime and also to minimise any potential conflicts.
Attending Lessons
We value punctuality. Please ensure that you are punctual for all lessons. We reserve the right not to extend the class if student consistently late for more than 15 minutes for lessons. However, if it is due to emergency matters, we will be easy on it.
Cancellation of Classes
1. A maximum of 2 class cancellations each month is allowed. If student cancels more than 2 lessons in a month, the 3rd lesson onwards will be forfeited. But if cancellation is due to travelling overseas/sickness or more, may be discussed.

2. We allow for flexibility for students, especially for those with working shifts*. However, last-minute cancellations (less than 12 hours before class) will result in the lesson being forfeited with no refund or make-up lesson provided. This will be subjected to a case-by-case review.

*We have students who have different work schedules each week and we appreciate that they always inform us to arrange the lesson slot for each week once they receive their work schedule.
Make-up Lessons
1. Make-up lessons are to be arranged on another lesson day in the same week or can be carried forward to the upcoming month that has a 5th week.
2. Make-up lessons that are yet to be completed for 60 days (2 months) from the lesson day will automatically be forfeited.
Payment of Fees
Fee Payment runs by a monthly cycle and payment is to be made before or during the first lesson of each month. Either via transfer or cash.

For payment for trial class, please also do make the payment before or during the trial class.
Suspension of Lessons/Trial Class
We do not collect any form of deposit, so in any case if you would like to suspend lessons, we would appreciate an advanced half-month notice such that your slot will be given up to others.
If you have fixed a trial class with us but are not keen in proceeding, please also let us know in advanced.
