Below are some of our frequently asked questions

What makes you stand out from other tutoring services? 

We run an ethical tutoring service. It is rather expensive to learn music today, and we would like to keep it as affordable as possible, and allow for it to be accessible to many. We sell second hand instruments at relatively affordable rates, and we do not jack up prices for our material fees.

What if I do not have an instrument?

Fret not! We provide instruments for students to use in their first few lessons during lesson time, with no additional costs incurred. Students will have sufficient time to decide whether they are keen to continue before investing in an instrument.

Where are lessons conducted at?

Lessons with XJ and XY are conducted at our place which is a 5-7min walk from Marsiling MRT Station. The conducive classroom set up provides a good learning environment for our students.

However, if you would like to have teachers teach in areas closer to you, or travel to your place, we have friends who are able to teach as well! Be sure to state that in the enquiry form and we will let you know if we have friends teaching in that area :-)

How many lessons are there a month and how are fees payable?

There are 4 lessons a month and 5th week of the month will be left for any make-up lessons. Fees are to be made payable before every 4 lessons, upfront via cash or a bank transfer.

Do you offer trial classes?

Yes! We offer trial classes at the same rates. Register with us to fix a time slot for your very first trial lesson. This might be your very first step out of your musical journey to come!
